The information environment has outpaced human monitoring capacity.

Comprehentia is the graph-native, provenance-first infrastructure layer for narrative intelligence at scale — detecting, mapping and monitoring the discourse that shapes elections, markets, public health and geopolitical outcomes.

01The Crisis

The first global information ecosystem crisis is already here.

Social media platforms optimised for engagement over accuracy, the collapse of economic models that sustained independent journalism, and the commercialisation of generative AI have converged to produce an environment in which falsehood spreads faster and further than truth.

Trust in institutions is in structural decline. The same information infrastructure now serves simultaneously as democratic commons and adversarial battlespace.

State and non-state actors weaponise this environment to reshape elections, financial markets, public health outcomes, corporate reputations, and the course of geopolitical conflicts — at industrial scale, algorithmically amplified, and largely undetected.

01

Volume & velocity

Billions of posts per day across fragmented platforms. Manual analysis is not a strategy.

02

Algorithmic amplification

Engagement-optimised distribution rewards outrage, fear, and identity affirmation.

03

Generative AI inflection

Persuasive narratives can now be produced, localised and iterated at near-zero marginal cost.

02The Solution

Graph-native. Discourse-theoretical. Provenance-first.

Comprehentia is an infrastructure layer for narrative intelligence — not a dashboard, not a sentiment tracker, not yet another monitoring tool. We turn complex societal data into auditable decision intelligence for the institutions whose mandate is the integrity of the public sphere.

01

Ingest

Continuous capture of posts, articles, broadcasts and platform signals across the open web, structured into a provenance-aware Post schema.

02

Extract

LLM-powered claim extraction with hedging, stance and entity annotation. Every claim is anchored to its source with cryptographic provenance.

03

Cluster

Embedding-space narrative clustering identifies semantically related claims propagating across sources, languages and platforms.

04

Score

Four-dimensional CNTRF risk scoring quantifies reputation, fraud, physical and information-integrity exposure for every narrative.

05

Decide

Analyst-facing intelligence surfaces, alerting, and audit-ready evidence packets — built for the realities of B2G and B2B decision workflows.

03CNTRF · Risk Framework

Four dimensions of narrative-driven risk, continuously quantified.

The Comprehentia Narrative Threat Risk Framework (CNTRF) decomposes every active narrative into four measurable risk surfaces. Scores update continuously as new claims propagate, enabling early warning and prioritised analyst attention.

DIM 01

Institutional Reputation

Narratives attacking the credibility of institutions, brands, or public figures.

DIM 02

Fraud & Decision Manipulation

Coordinated content designed to manipulate financial or operational decisions.

DIM 03

Physical Spillover & Safety

Narratives with potential to incite real-world harm, protest, or violence.

DIM 04

Information Integrity

Coordinated inauthentic behaviour shaping democratic discourse and elections.

04Stakeholders

Built for the four sectors whose mandate is the integrity of public discourse.

05Traction & Provenance

Six years of frontier research. Already trusted by NATO, EU, and public-service institutions.

Comprehentia is a dual-use spin-off from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, originating in a six-year multidisciplinary R&D project funded with €5.83M from the German MoD, DARP and NextGen EU.

Conversations with civil and military stakeholders — Police, Bundeswehr, NATO, EU CIDCC, ZDF, UNICEF — surfaced a shared, urgent need to better understand and navigate digital narratives. That insight is the foundation of Comprehentia.
