About
A Munich-based deep-tech spin-off, born from six years of frontier research.
Comprehentia is a dual-use spin-off from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, originating in a six-year multidisciplinary R&D project as part of the dtec.bw program. €5.83M in funded research from the German MoD, DARP and NextGen EU laid the foundation; the urgent operational need surfaced in conversations with the Bundeswehr, NATO, EU CIDCC, ZDF and UNICEF sparked the company.

Six years of frontier research. Already trusted by NATO, EU, and public-service institutions.
Comprehentia is a dual-use spin-off from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, originating in a six-year multidisciplinary R&D project funded with €5.83M from the German MoD, DARP and NextGen EU.
Conversations with civil and military stakeholders — Police, Bundeswehr, NATO, EU CIDCC, ZDF, UNICEF — surfaced a shared, urgent need to better understand and navigate digital narratives. That insight is the foundation of Comprehentia.
